1 of only 4 1le cars built by pontiac for the 1990 model year, sold through gm's supplier/subsidiary system to it's first owner and delivered through dealer in flint. Built by john bennett for scca american sedan class with the 91/92 formula body panels and one of pontiac's ultra rare aluminum hoods! It was raced by jim christ of the toy store in florida in the early 90's including multiple poles, wins and track records at road atlanta, sebring, daytona and homestead miami. Currently restored to original race appearance under sunoco sponsorship and legal for vintage racing with full cage, current net & belts, spec motor, super t-10 4 speed and ford 9 inch locker. Full fire system, accusump, racetech radio, fuel cell, spares and scca log book. With over 2 million firebirds & camaros built between 1982 and 1992 there were only 1532 1le cars built. Chevrolet produced 1,360 of them with pontiac only building 172. This car has never been titled but still retains it's original vin tag. This is a unique opportunity to purchase a rare factory race car that has been purpose built for the task, has excellent substantiated history & is a recent magazine car.

This is the 2nd earliest ram air ii gto known to exist, likely built on the first day of production at the pontiac assembly plant. Invoice date of 5/28/68, delivered to zone 08 / dealer 219, marte pontiac - columbus, ohio. Comes with correct c118 9792506 xw short block with armasteel crank, d228 ra ii heads, correct dated 9794234 intake, rebuilt correct 7028270 automatic carburetor, original ram air pans and zl 4:33 nodular posi rear. Includes boxes of nos parts that i've been collecting for over 30 years including turn signal lenses & housings, tail light lenses & housings, bezels, emblems, decals, nos trunk lid, nos valence & nos passenger door. Near nos core support & perfect front bumper, original console with his/hers hurst shifter included as is the am radio, 8-track, dash bezel, gauges & tach. Collector owned for over 20 years, car will need a complete restoration but is more than worthy of it.

The kit to install the a/c is roughly $1,500. 00 from classic air, for anyone who is interested in installing a/c. This truck was originally from south carolina and is in amazing shape. The underside and frame are as nice as trucks 10 years old or less. The reason i am selling it is because i'm looking for something that i can take my whole family of (4) driving in. I've spent nearly $28k on this truck and realize i will have to take a loss to sell it. With that being said, i am not in a desperate situation. Below is a partial list of the major rebuilt and or new items; there are way more new or rebuilt items that i do not have room to mention. The only thing that has recently stopped working is the gas gauge. I suspect it is the sending unit in the tank. A new gas tank, sending unit and all necessary parts to complete the swap have been ordered and i am expecting delivery early next week. All the new parts will be included with the sale of the truck. Powered by a monstrous 6. 7-liter cummins turbo diesel engine, the 2011 ram pickup outguns the chevy silverado duramax in torque, and equals that of the ford powerstroke. With 350 horsepower and an astounding 800 lb-ft of torque and a tow rating up to 22,750 pounds, there isn't much a ram truck can't move. The best part about this truck, besides power and reliability, is that the new high-output cummins turbo diesel does not require diesel exhaust fluid like its competitors. Truck has a clean title. Drives like a beast, looks sharp and comes at an affordable price compared to the $34,000. 00 blue book value. It came originally with 5. 7 hemi engine that was all torn apart. So we got rid of that and installed the gas cab into a diesel chassis (engine, transmission, interior, harness, computers. . .) out of a 2010 6. 7 rollover we had with 64k miles. So the body shell is out of a gas truck with 101k miles, and everything else is from a diesel. Then we installed new take offs front and rear chrome bumpers and grille just to give it a nicer look, along with nicer wheels and running boards. Interior is nice and clean, very specious and comfortable. The all black interior adds a nice touch to the truck. .: under the hood mechanically truck drives like a beast. Need to confess that we had nothing but fords on the past 10 years. But boy oh boy this truck delivers a nice performance. Truck has plenty of power and does not miss a beat. It's a solid ride with great stability. Transmission shifts very smooth. Has tire pressure warning lights.
